[The video clicks on and the view is black. There's shuffling going on before the obstruction is removed from view and Jigen is seen putting on his hat. After settling it over his eyes and breathing out a small puff of smoke, he smiles calmly.]

Things are a little better lately. Lupin has calmed down now that Fujiko's around. I guess we've also just become more accepting of how the.. Malnosso plan to torture us.

[A slight pause as he puts the cigarette between his lips, moving to switch off the video, leaving the audio running. His voice in a softer tone as he spoke now.]

I remember talking to a few people about them. Has anyone figured out anything else?

I don't like it. Even when things don't come across as inherently dangerous, it doesn't mean there isn't some sort of danger involved... and perhaps the real cause for concern lies in simply becoming complacent.
